Lol, I know, but I'd prefer to go with the opinion of the general public, instead of doing what I want all the time. If I just did my own thing, it wouldn't be... well, let's just say I wouldn't have the guts to post it here. Besides, i've got (apart from the 20 previous ones) a new savefile without the Steps, so i've not lost anything should I wish to go back.

Opinion: Model them in. Cut them only if necessary.

I really thought I posted the finsihed sovvie here moths ago. The one on the last page isn't the finished one. This is closer to the Nemesis version but not 100% Canon. I've done that so it looks better in game.

This comparison shot has specs disabled on both shots so we can see the differences. That shot is for Aeries' benifit, who couldn't see any differnce lol.  :P

The others have specs enabled.

I don't want to sound rude but.. Don't Escape Pods usually indent towards the outside of the hull? Or is it just confusion with the angles?

...Probably not, but the number I get(379.6m) could be considered ?original intent,? a term that I think I will be using from now on, and ?canon? be damned.

Very nice...

It would be especially nice if this Sovvie was made into a stand-alone install for those of us who don't want to install a whole new KM (in other words, those of us who have tons of mods already and are essentially satisfied with what we have).

Excellent work.

We can release the textures separately of course, for those who don't want the entire KM Experience. Perhaps a Gigantic Retexture pack?

That's why I keep copies of every mod I have in a seperate folder.
Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

And a few more ships coming out from under the wraps...

What would be even cooler...a "blank" texture pack alongside a retexture pack. For those of us that want to make our own ships.

I like the new Steamrunner and Norway textures. Excellent. Too bad those models are horrible though.

Anyway,
I like those new Akira textures. New Sovereign textures are the best though.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

To answer a few questions:

Ekbalam: Well, the Akira and Steamrunner are already blank so I'm sure with a bit of tinkering you can add your own. I'm not so sure about the Sovereign though.

Billz: Yeah, horrid models. :D

szekeres: No it's not rescaled. But that can be easily arranged.

Jimmy: Thanks! :D

This is coming along nicely.  I like what I'm seeing and looking forward to the completed project. It's nice to see new ships like the Aeries as well.  It has a nice design to it.  I've always been partial to ring drives but this has a nice twist more of an oval drive. So many projects so many ships I'm in BC heaven
