It's looking nice, but I don't remember the Enterprise having a thick red stripe between the pylons.

I'd say leave it.  Gives it a bit of individuality.  Just break up the stripe's monotony with hull plating effects in the paint.

That and shorten the Impulse Crystal texture at the top to where it's just around the globe part....

The windows on deck 2 (except the officers lounge ones) are too big, downsize them.

There's also one other thing I just noticed....The Aztec pattern on the saucer....the panneling should be one pattern per shield grid.? like this

light? ? ? ?? dark
shieldgrid? Shield grid
dark? ? ? ?? light
shieldgrid? shield grid
light? ? ? ?? dark
shield grid shield grid

etc.? all the way around the saucer.? The way you have it it's two per gridline...

Light          Dark
Dark           Light
Shieldgrid..........  Etc.

You misunderstand me........

Here's a picture to better illustrate what I'm trying to tell you!

One is your picture, the other one is what it should look like :).  Not trying to nitpic or be rude or anything, just trying to be of help!

Doesn't make much difference to me. And it's only the smallest of details and I'm (usually) good at noticing the finer details.

The blue stripe on the neck needs to be less saturated.

The starfleet insignia by the sides of the deflector dish seem to be stretched a little. You might want to shorten them. Buts its looking great. Could we get some close-up pictures of your ship?
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

leave the torpedo tubes black..if you are going to make them red..only have the inner flat part glow red not the entire tube itself...
