Ultimate Tactical Cube WIP
« on: June 23, 2009, 11:34:13 AM »
Wow!  I haven't made anything in such a long time, so I made a new Tactical Cube - this one should be very close to canon.  I still need to adjust the alpha channel of the main hull texture (it's poor quality - notice the white borders around the greens/yellows), and I also want to add the large blasters that dot the vertical edges of the ship in the shows.

Enjoy the screens.

FRACK! Instant cookie for that beautiful masterpiece! May I ask the Tri count? :D

 Wow, brilliant.

I must admit your first Tactical Cube was the first (seperate) mod I downloaded and installed... Purely for it's awesomness...

This will be a ship, dare I say, of epic proportions...

great, but I still don't like the symmetry of your borg textures (the one with the pipes and stuff). ;)

the bottom hull armor is connected to the sides armor. watched unimatrix zero yesterday. somehow i remember that.

edit : yeah it is, even at the top

That's because I didn't add them yet; I also did not want to waste too many more polygons on this thing; here it is finished.

That's the only thing I didn't really do - connecting the armor plating like in the show.

Here I blew a giant hole in it with a bioship - seems to damage very well in-game; I also had to fix a few cracks/holes in the mesh that I neglected before (notice the shot at Poseidon 2 has a small blue hole in the ship)
