Bridge Commander tribute videos
« on: March 17, 2015, 04:42:50 PM »
Posted links to these in Baz's modding thread, but figured may as well park here as well for nostalgic old-timers (or curious new visitors  :D).   Just a few HD (720p) videos I did over Christmas break to celebrate some of the great work (both individual, and team) on BC over the years

Curious where all the bridge character models came from. Some of them look pretty high quality, like the Romulans. Good job! How do you go about filming? Do you edit the camera angle py's? I find that you can edit the sweep time to get some pretty good footage but I have not been able to mod them well enough for public usage. I am very interested in what you have to say, since I am working on a Machinima project and intend to use BC for ship footage, but still undecided on character animation footage. I could use someone like you on my team, eventually, if you are interested.

Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

 :D

I've explained (apologised?) to J that sadly I can't see myself finishing it for variety of reasons, but anyone who wants to take it on has my blessing

What does it do? What does it add to the game? I am looking to make KM as robust as possible, so if it includes any new features I would be very interested in having a look at it, and possibly merging it into KM. I am doing that with Retro Mod (Ent - TMP ships) Is there a website I can look at, or a list of features?

Edit: Having looked at your site, looks like a lot of interior work. I am indeed very very interested now. How many are converted for BC? Are they stable? I didnt see any download links, and could not find your username on BC Files.. I do have a few modelers I can call on, but not sure how good they are with interiors, but they are very good with exterior and ship modeling. Very good work I see with some of those character models, they look much better than the stock models with the rough edges.

indeed, alot more has been done since the last post in that thread...
i suppose ill finish up the last few bits on my end and release as is...

as far as i know, it will not work with KM and is meant as a separate mod for an install of BC meant only for SP use...
