Camera veiw in Shuttles

Is there a way to change the camera view in the shuttle craft  cockpit; specifically for the type8 shuttle cockpit, is there a way where I can change the view where I'm sitting in one of the front seats instead of standing at the back.

This would require some scripting changes (changing the first person camera and hiding whichever officer is currently occupying the seat).  It can be done but it's a bit more involved than you're probably hoping.
