So I finally got the game running on Windows 11, I can't get the resolution any higher than ....with the remastered mod. Or it instantly crashes and the two main ways I play is on the defiant playing either all the flag ships vs the same number of birds of prey which is like 6 v 6 solo player or a massive battle at deep space nine like the end battle of the feds and klingons vs cardassians and the jam hadar and its 1 of each ship so its a big load of ships. The first game crashes after a few mins and the second lags horrendously then I need to go through Windows to quit the game cuz it's essentially freezing up to the point I can't even get the menu up to quit.
I've got a decent PC so I don't know why it's struggling to run such an old game. I'm at a total loss at this rate if I can get it running I can only play single player vanilla anyone had these issues. Another point was when I did get it running on full screen at a higher resolution I had to put the option files into the game files every time or it would crash instantly
