There's no piece of the video that's 10 FPS. Perhaps you shouldn't fall back on unwarranted criticisms that have nothing to do with the video you're watching.
00:26 the corridor shaking.
00:47 the Galaxy turning right.
01:10 the windows passing by.
01:33 Tie cockpit
01:35 exterior fly-by
10:52 the Sovereign turning. (which, IIRC, is P81's Sovereign, while all the other shots had CG's Sovereign)

EDIT: by better models I mean Scotchy's Galaxy and Erazoren's or CR's nebula

Incorrect. The corridor scene is running at 30 FPS, just like the rest of the video.

LOL!! Then why bother making a blanket statement about me NOT using the models "everyone else is" because of ONE 3 second scene with the P81?

I'm no expert, but it sounds like a bunch of bickering in this thread.

As for the video, if you want people to see it in "full" resolution, a streaming video site like Youtube or Myspace isnt the best choice.

I'll be uploading it to BC Files and JA Files later this week. Youtube is  the home base for "The Last Bastion", though.

Galaxy model: I believe I ended up using the SNS Galaxy, actually.

Because I couldn't get them to move as poorly as the characters in "Bridge Commander".

Ohhh, big insult.. a 5 year old space sim doesnt have amazing character animations :funny. Besides the anims can be whatever you want them to be, it just depends how much time you have to put into making the animations.

Your response doesn't answer the question of why your characters bend around like they have a calcium deficiency.

Insult? Oh sorry, did you make the game?

Amazingly bad, you mean.  "Max Payne" was released the same year, yet the female characters didn't have football player shoulders, and ALL the characters had ragdoll physics, and didn't hold their arms out in front of them like Robby the Robot. The Trek characters in "Judgement Rites" were more believable, FFS.

I haven't seen any updates to these stock BC crews that are any less ridiculous. They still hold their arms out in front of themselves for no reason, new captain models bob their head to and fro like they have Parkinson's disease, and they're so short their feet don't even touch the deck. Is that a high-chair or a Captain's chair?

Oh, yes, you said the characters move like "Stretch Armstrong"? Ok, this is Stretch Armstrong:

Care to point out where exactly in "The Last Bastion" part 5 that the characters elongate like this?

Oh, and I didn't make "The Movies", so I won't be "insulted" by your answer.

Ok guys I am a guy who works in a MULTIMEDIA department and teach MEDIA MOVING IMAGE, so I think I am qualified to comment on these (resum? on request, k thx).

Firstly, everything is all wrong. you should not have it in space at all! Or even have space ships, what you need to have is place it on a mountain, no wait, a tropic island with a mountain. Then change it so instead of fighting (because those spaceships are so gone, darling :)) have it so that its like a reality TV show! Two competing teams from different TV shows, and they have to vote off the weakest person each time until only one is left. Then, on the season finale, you have this giant fist fight between the two winners. But its not like a fists as in hands, oh no, we need to draw in the audience, so they'll fight with giant bowls of 2 month old custard, the first to get food poisoning loses.

Additionally some form of weekly challenges where people either get defecated on shot at, or defecated on, because they dodged the bullet. TRUST ME I AM IN MEDIA I KNOW THIS.

Also, there needs to a be a late edition where a lot of 18 year old women have a lesbian orgy, to really pull in the straight male and lesbian female audience. Maybe some guy with no socks on can attract the homosexual men, I don't really know about that as its not my cup of tea, but still.

Other than that its a pretty good draft rough cut final concept anamatic inital concept, and I look forward to the new version reflecting your changes!

The 13th commandment is "Thou shalt not write fan fiction"

But then again even if it wasn't you'd still be going to hell, those videos are a crime against humanity
