Any suggestions for subsystems tags (ie warp core, etc)?

Needs some work on details, then the LCARS around it.

I need a list of about 10 random subsystems to add to the MSD.

1. Main Bridge

Any others?

Further changes planned. Yes, I forgot to change the Registry number from the Farragut.

This image could be used for the tactical display at the front of the Bridge.

OK the reason why i stood back is because there are very few bridge retexturers out there any more, if i had jumped in and said "yeh i like the idea" straight away it might have stopped anyone else from taking it up.

Now as for your MSD, well its not bad but i have some critiques if you dont mind:
  • The colours are not correct, you need to identify an era you are aiming for (a film or episode) and then try and make a colour pallette for it
  • An MSD should not show the ship name or painted logos
  • I have a feeling there is a good Oberth MSD out there already, ill take a look

And as for the bridge retexture:
  • I would recommend using the nebula bridge as a base, since it has been used on the miranda aswell and the miranda is of a similar lineage to the oberth
  • Consider the colour themes on the bridge, select 3 colours and then use them for the floors and walls
  • Things like "how do I seperate a bridge" are questions you are best to find your own answer to, its a hard process to describe, but not hard to figure out on your own really.
  • I really like the idea of an oberth class bridge, Id like to see it done well so I would be happy to offer bsilver support on it

I found this, it might be useful: -

*It seemed to work earlier, nevermind*

What pic, locky?

I've found a few LCARS systems that might be useful, at www.lcarsdeveloper.com.

I've also found an LCARS font that will make it a little more useful.

And Mark, what colors would be more appropriate? It's taken from the Farragut, which is about the same time period as the Pegasus.

And I'll be waiting for the MSD you can find. I hope it's better than this quick job. I'll try to change some colors around.

As for the "how do I separate a bridge?" question, I am going to try and reverse engineer the process using a really crappy Sutherland retexture :P.

EDIT: Forgot to say that the painted logos have already been removed. That was me getting overboard with tracing.
EDIT2: Found some color palette info from the site I listed above. I'll try to rework it.

Hmm.. you know, msds are supposed to be cutaways... like in the screencap you?ve posted.
The top part of the ship in yours is filled while it should be like an outline of the areas.

One thing that might help you is that i know jackwill done a oberth cutaway, which you can download at gilso?s page.

Working on that now. I've extracted the warp nacelle and moved it out of the way. Now I will use a few cutaway's to extrapolate the saucer plans. Any link for "Gilso's" page?

Here is the Cutaway LC mentioned. I've also included the Ent-B MSD for colour reference, I believe this colour-scheme fit's the era when the Pegasus was built!?.  8)

So you are trying to make it fit the same colours as the current MSD? well then thats easy, just use the current msds colours :P

Most Oberth would follow a TMP color scheme, but the Pegasus was only 12 years old at the time of her discovery in TNG: Pegasus. All of her LCARS in that episode matched the LCARS on the Enterprise D.

Meh, found a colour pallet anyways :P

Here it is with the proper cutout sequence and more appropriate LCARS colors for mid-TNG:

I even moved the shuttlebay to it's proper place. I still need to get the appropriate bulkheads in place in the saucer and secondary hull (the latter is mostly done) and add the sensor arrays. That JackHill image is amazing, and has set me straight.
