I don't get it. I had to 580 GTX cards and I didn't get shots like this out of BC

It's not just in the cards.  Mess with your Nvidia Control Panel and force BC to use anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, all that good stuff.  Also play heavily with the lighting ingame using Edit mode.

Edit() works well. Mck. does a bit GIMP (blur etc) but most of it is able by pure bc engine.

Yeah I did all of that.
We think it's was because they gave me a downgrade motherboard that couldn't handle the video cards..

I'm currently in the process of upgrading to

ASUS z9PE-D8 WS Dual LGA 2011 Intel Board
Operating 2 Xeon E5 2630's (Six Core Server Processors)
64 Gigs of Ram

We'll see what BC can do with that because I like Fleet Shots...

The setup you have is great but if you have a simple i5 with a gtx 660, it will be the same effect for this game. It's the engine that is gonna be the limit..

Yeah I figured but I would also like to do high end renders and modeling in 3DS Max (once I learn how.)  I'm also a drafter so it helps to have a super computer at home if one can.  I'm hoping I get the effects like Rifle does in those videos.

After a week or so of the game running in the background with me coming back to it and thinking fuck it and coming out of it again.... after creating my own, even if simple star effect tga file (and not thinking it looked right) to put in the game. A lot of dicking around with nebula, shield effects overlays and subtle lighting effects and pushing all I have hopefully learnt within the game

Also the fact I have had a really really shitty week at work or even if I still have a job come next week, this is the only thing that has kept me sane.

this screenshot after taking it gave me a thought.... lets see what I can push myself to do

Fanning the Flames

and after looking back at the previous pic of the Vivace Class I did
all we need is a....

A Shining Beacon of Light

Nice shots!

I have a question. What is the best voyager model out there for BC?

I believe that would be in the Delta Quadrant Mod.

The only Voyager that i can find in the files is the YOH voyager... I might be wrong though. If it's in there, i cant find what the name of it is in the files.

*EDIT

Apparently, its simply the CGI voyager. I could have sworn that they were working on a brand new model for the DQP. I just looked at the thread, and saw that they scrapped it. I still hope that someone will make an even better Voyager.
