Outlines on the panels are way too thick and way too dark...

And the center line makes it look like it's mirrored texture. The rest looks good, though.

It is mirrored, and the panels were originally too dark I just went over them and made them more crispy.. ty for the feedback, center line will be removed (it actally IS a mirrored texture haha) Ill have an updated screenshot soon :) (needs some phaser arrays I see too)

It should be noted that I am not going for an exact retexture.. Im also adding phaser arrays to the texture

Indeed, Eximius has mirrored mapping and the textures were poorly alligned with model, I was retexturing it long time ago, went for FC Sovereign bright grey colors... unfortunately it was lost due to hard drive failure. I remember I had to allign certain parts of the map to match the model.

As for the textures, try to avoid the same mistake I did in my early retextures, namely, dark grey and thick outlines. Try to make them brighter shade of grey and much thiner, also if you're aiming for a total retexture, look at any Sovereign available (CG's, DJ's, Wiley's - those are great examples to follow) try to replicate similiar transporter pads, escape pods, sensor palettes, hull colors and patterns.

Although it's a hard model to retexture due to mapping issues, it still has potential ;)

Once I finish, I dont plan on touching it again lol.. Im using the C2 Steamrunner as a base because it had the best hull texturing @ 1024 and nice crisp escape pods. I did just "install" 6 phaser arrays on the model from the Intrepid via texturing but the color might be off (I have problems with some colors unfortunately). The thick lines are due to enlarging the original texture from 512 to 1024 (trying to use the cleanest parts of the original texture) But I do see what you are saying about the dark lines. I suppose we can pretend they are hull plating or some kind of ablative seam that absorbs more energy, or something.. I could send you my PSD files if you would like a head start? Most of the "outline" is layered on top of the texture, so when you hide the (original texture) layer beneath there becomes cleaner, crisper, and thinner lines than with the layer revealed. I just simply dont have the time or drive to go all out on a texture for a model that hardly gets used. You are more than welcome to the PSD's though, shoot me a PM and I'll send you links :)

I may go ahead and darken up the shuttlebay, the same color scheme is really annoying in that area lol

Side note: this thing has WAY too many escape pods for a battle ship.. lol.. I did away with a few on the underside of the saucer.. lets conserve some space and make more room for things like restrooms with toilets :P

Kind of a two fold celebration with this one.  Celebrating the return of DJ to BCC and mysel to Bridge Commander!  I have a new disk!

In its later years of service, the USS Hood (NCC-1703) was refurbished to the mark IV evolution of the Enterprise-subclass design. The Hood was recorded as being destroyed on stardate 2/3503 near Klingon space.....Or so we thought.
On Stardate 2/24/3506, 3 years after the destruction of NCC-1703,A Remora class starship along with a few escorts was on their way to complete a reconnaissance mission near the Klingon Border when a mysterious starship suddenly de-cloaked in front of the ship, in preparation to open fire on the fleet. The starship, which appeared to be a captured hull of a Constitution Mk-II retrofitted to Klingon specification, came up upon translation as "IKV Hood"....

And now for something completely different.
"Opposite Day"

Next time on Star Kronos, Captain Kang is put through a major risk as the crew of the USS Klolode is at standoff against Chancellor Kirk in the dreaded IKV Enterprise. Can Kang and his crew make it out alive? TUNE IN TO FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON STAR KRONOS!
(I had to do it. I am sorry but this is just too perfect XD)

Klingon Bird of Prey ver FOAS WIP. Simply made because the Imperial BOP felt too plain in my eyes.

Thanks Neb!
To this day I wished more of Furyofaseraph's models were released for BC, let alone SFC. All I know so far were what Starforce made and the Robnomicon. Last I recall in reading posts in Dynaverse, the Juva, ISC and even some extra Klingon and  Mirak/Kzinti ships were made.
