MPE Problems
« on: August 01, 2007, 08:05:28 PM »
Everytime I load a ship model into the MPE, it then asks me to load a ship script. I'm assuming this means the ships hardpoint. Anyway, when I try to load the script, MPE crashes with the useless 'send an error report to Microsoft' garbage.

What am I doing wrong?

Potential problem you are not selecting the right script.
Make sure you are selecting one from scripts/Ships/hardpoints
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

I am. It still crashes. I have python 2.4 installed on my PC. Could that be the problem?

Not at all, MPE doesn't need Python.

[EDIT] Besides, I got 5 different versions of Python installed.
