Bridge Plugin Project Update
« on: August 14, 2006, 07:20:26 PM »
Just some news for you all regarding the project.

BP Core: BPCore will be receiving an update shortly that will address issues with TSD reseting, animation loading and also the way that alert changes are handled in order to allow for other new plugins.

MVAM Maps: The prometheus bridge is mostly ready and so mleo has gotten work done on the MVAM maps module (thanks to LJ on this one too), expect to see it debut along side the prometheus bridge shortly/

BP Sounds: BP sounds has been downgraded slightly due to some issues we had with the outisde sound muting, however this was probably one of the least sucessful parts of BP0.8 (everyone thought it was a bug). BP sounds is already enabled on the TOS bridges aswell as the Ambassador bridges, so you can expect some instant changes when you install it.

Static FX: Static FX has been gathering dust for too long now, mleo and I wiped it clean this evening and checked it out for the first time since BP0.8. The results were good, I have asked mleo to implement one or two changes to the system however you can expect to see the module avaiable soon.

JediFX: LJ is still hard at work on this one, all I can let you know is that it is far from dead.

New Modules: Mleo has also designed a new module which we have called TargetedDS  (Targeted display system). It works by swapping a map on a bridge for the icon of the currently targetted item, for now i have asked MLeo to keep it simple, however im hoping to implement this new module into the Nebula Class 3.0 when it comes around.[/list:u]

How can you say it hasn't made an impact? :?

Or is that programmers pride getting in the way.:P

Besides, you forgot to mention BP Uniforms.;)
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

You guy's at 3E have really kept bridge modding and BC itself alive and kicking!!. two or three months back I thought the community was dropping off, but once those BP Bridge modules were released things really picked up!!. Quite a feather in the cap for 3E :D .

Thanks for all the hard work and effort!! :dance

Either an accident or my guess is a user who didnt like the bugs that came with BP0.8 so therefore they hate BP...

2 no votes now. I voted yes because it most definitely has made an impact... there is no way one can look at Bridge Plugin (and its extra mods) and say that it DIDN'T make an impact :P
