"set course": no list of systems
« on: November 09, 2007, 10:44:14 AM »
Hoping someone can help:

The "set course" button in quickbattle doesn't give me the whole list of systems that I have installed to select and thus to warp to. (I thought it's the nanfx2fix that gives this functionality?)

Any pointers is much appreciated!

Which fix do you mean?

The one that breaks everything?
Or mine? Or Defiants?

I think it was the first one. Which simply introduced bugs.
It's list of all systems was actually a hit or loose attempt at loading "all" systems.
So, if you miss one of "all" the systems it included, then you didn't get them all.

It simply tried to load a fixed set of systems that the author wrote into it.

There is JWattsjr script out there that did the right thing. Try BCU, if they still have attachments.
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

So which is the file that should fix the problem of not having the list of systems show up under the "set course" button? (I tried a search of "JWattsjr", but I'm not sure which file I should be looking for...)

Thanks again
