Thanks, I'm glad you're liking it!!  :D

Here's another update, this time I've completed work on the warp pylons and the impulse and warp engines. I added the warp grille textures from the CE Galaxy as I really liked them and I think they fit in nicely here too. The bussard collectors are new and I've found new way to make them look even more realistic in-game (which I'm keeping secret for now!!).

All the best.... and Merry Christmas to all of you!!

I'd love to see this in a grey paint scheme.

woot, it seems original designs are being done again - with better quality.

Thanks everyone for all the positive comments!!  :D

I'd love to see this in a grey paint scheme.

Thanks DJ, thats quite possible. I've been creating Master Texture files in PSD format as I've been modding the ship so it's really easy to modify textures on the ship. I've also included the first in-game pic for you guys to see if the textures could do with darkening even further, all opinions welcome.  :D

Also I'm really happy with the bussards, you can see them in the pic below with glows added!!.

Can you try making the escape pods in the same "grey"-ish color that DJ is using on his Galaxy? Also adding the phaser texture which seams to be lacking atm will make it look even better. But for a first ingame rendering of the ship, it looks awesome thus far.

Thanks for the feedback DT, I've removed the colour from the escape pods and also darkened them. As for the phaser arrays, I'm not going to change them right now.

Also I've set up a poll to let you guys decide which escape pods you want to see on the nebula, any feedback also will help!!

Here are my latest changes.

Only crit now, is I think the phaser strips need to be darker then they are now. The grey escape pods looks good thou.

I agree...I like the escape pods the way they are..but slightly darker phasers strips might make them more prominent.

I guess I'm the only one who voted for yellow escape pods.

Hey there folks.

I thought I'd post a new set of updates for you people to look at. First off I've completed my work texturing the aft section of the ship, there is picture of the studio model as a comparison. also I've darkened the phaser arrays as many of you have already suggested.

Hope you guys like, c&c welcome!!

Indeed. It all looks much better now. The aft shuttlebay area could do with some re-modelling but otherwise it's looking great. Considering the source material you have to work with *cough* P *cough* 81 *cough :P
