Right I thought that i will update people on BCC of the next project JL Studios is starting.

After the CGI Voyager, it was brought up that there is a lack of delta quadrant ships in bc, so the modellers at JLS are making brand new models which will included 20+ delta quadrant ships.

I'm not gona give you all a list of what's instore, i'll keep it a surprise ;)

Anyway 2 ships are, what i think are probably done. Ive just finished off the caretaker array 15 mins ago. It's hard to take images to get the detail in the array, but i assure you there are plently of details.

The dauntless has had brand new textures over V1.0 which is on BCF, but will only be available in this pack.

Dauntless Mesh: Gtea
Caretaker Array: c2x

This thread will only be updated once each ship is done.

Oh I know you got plenty of toys over there but these will actualy get released reasonably soon

I just hit up JB with some reference material to go wild on so maybe the pack well end up with a few more than expected.

If we had it my way, we would be doing every single ship that was ever seen in Voyager! Unfortunately, I'm not a good enough modeller and lint has many other projects!

, but all of the additional damage textures will be done by me. I also have altered models for the damaged areas, but no MVAM so far. I would like to get it done. I'm trying to remember when I last worked on it......

well, hopefully there are others out there that will help fill in the gaps for delta ships. It's kinda sad we don't have more of them given the length of time some of them have been out there.

There are a load of Delta Quadrant ships on BCFiles made by Queball a while back, Nihidron, Kazon etc.
Might be easier to fill in the gaps rather than re-invent the wheel. ;)

And great job on the Caretaker, I did one about 2 years ago for SFC but due to a HD crash never got to release it.

I'm not entirely sure what ships are going to be done but I am going to lend a hand as often as I can to JL Studios. That caretaker array is sure looking awesome.

OK I've got a nice little update for you all. lint has been working his butt off the last few days getting these meshes done. I've gotta say he's done a great job. And let me add, all the ships that you see are under 3k, so lint can do low poly when he wants ;)
