2 sensor arrays on an hp
« on: February 18, 2008, 04:03:06 PM »
Is there any secret to this? Or is it just to make sure the secondary is listed after the primary in the hp so the primary is active first?
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

Only have 1 set as primary.

In other words: If you have 2 or more "top level" systems (Sensors/Engines/Shields/) then only 1 may be primary.

Maybe a hper could prove me right or wrong?
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

next question, since only one is used at a time, does only one draw from the power systems at a time?

Try it. :P
Set the Warpcore to produce 50, set the primary to use 10, set the secondary to use 40 and every other system to use 0.

But, again, you will have to ask a hper.

Look at my Oberth's HP. That setup works like a charm.

As far as I know they both draw power.

However you have to be careful to set the sensor ranges to be the same, otherwise you get what I call 'flick' where targets appear and disappear from sensors rather annoyingly.
