First WIP: Mustang Class Runabout

Well, hopefully alot of you all should know me, for those that don't, Hi im F_W from over at SFC3Files, Dynaverse and owner of OutaLance. I thought that maybe it was time to maybe start branching out for BC myself (yes all the pestering from everyone i know here helped aswell so blame Adonis, Dawg, Lint and Omega for me been here)

A couple of months ago Rengers, built and mapped me a mesh of the mustang class runabout from over at Star Trek Australia, it weighs in at about 9k on the poly count. I've been working on the textures (2x2048) on and off for a month. I've decided on 3 versions in the pack: USS Cobra, USS Viper, ISS Constrictor
Heres what i have so far....  This is the Constrictor i will add the viper and the cobra when i get back.


Fallen enemies are fed to the scavengers.
Fallen friends are fed into the Great Furnace, their souls returned to the Great Mother.
While Fallen Warriors Ready themselves for the final battle that will regain their Honor

:shock: Excellent, though I'm not a fan of the impulse textures. They look too much like bussards to me, and welcome to BCC.

I was wondering what happened to this.  Nice textures, but I'm not a big fan of the teeth...hopefully the standard Feddy versions won't have that.  :P

I have to agree, unfortunately. The shark face pain job is a bit much. If you REALLY wanna add something extra... I guess a SMALL old-school handwritten name (Stereotypically "Betty", as I've seen in most WWII films) on the side of the hull might do. I have that on my old lawn mower... d*mn thing is a stuck up little machine, but dangit, she's still running. :P

Like I said already to you, I really like what you have done out of her :D

PS: The mustang have just 6k polys, not 9k :wink:

A version without the weapons pod would be cool to see as well. (without the shark teeth :P)

I did, that's why I said "I hope the standard Feddy versions don't have" the teeth.  :P

i like the overall design, its very smooth post-nemisis. id lose the shark-mouth textures
