yeah, that was a problem with Ent F too.  as for the saucer going to warp, that is very unusual.  Neither myself, Jimmy, or Elminster experienced that.  As for the missing phaser sounds, the requirements recommend having km1.0.  But if need be, I'll upload an sfx folder update to BCFiles.

I have KM 1.0 I actually formatted last night and this morning made a brand new STBC 1.1 and then applied a KM 1.0 CD ISO mod over it, tested the KM 1.0 and then added the DJ Galaxy.

still problems?  btw, i appologize for not getting the beta to you for testing andrew.  I just didn't get the whole package complete until yesterday afternoon, and I had a staff party to go to last night, and i really wanted to keep my word and have the thing out on April 20.  By the soudns of things, so far people aren't having many problems.   Though that saucer warp thing is really weird.

found the problem causing bsod's. in the folder Scripts\Custom\Ships the py's for all the dj galaxy's have this line in them "from bcdebug import debug import Foundation" erase bcdebug import debug from all py's line 1. then it works like a charm. great ships dj super job :) .

Downloaded it again, have noticed lack of a SFX folder in the archive, so those with sounds may luckily have the sounds in their install it requires.

Saucer going to warp is a pretty bad bug surprised no beta tester found it ;)

Stop complaining; all of your problems can be fixed easily.

Excellent job on this ship - I haven't downloaded or played it yet but it's the best Galaxy ever made for Bridge Commander.  I don't care what's wrong with it because all of the hard work has been done, and everything else is miscellaneous and can be fixed easily.

guys please avoid posting any technically-related issues you may be encountering in this thread...  thats what the Tech Supprot forum is for - please create threads in that forum if need be...

and personally, i encountered no issues with this mod at all, sfx or otherwise...  tho i didnt have the opportunity to thoroughly test in deep detail the MVAM functions; in either event any slight error like that can be fixed anyway, as CR pointed out...

i know how long and hard DJ has worked on this, so thank you DJ for this :D

That would be excellent if you could do that. :D

Try removing the first line in DJGalaxy.py in the subfolder Scripts\Custom\Ships

Seems to be a debug-line that might not be needed.
That didn't work. line 1 was import app. after i removed it the console report was still the same. someone else on bcfiles is having this problem also.
try making a new plugin file for the ship.

All could have been fixed if she had been given time by the community to be tested properly instead of pushed out, this is the exact same issue which hit KM 1.0

Thanks for posting that JB.  Cookie!

And no, the Venture was never seen with saucer impulse activated.  The USS Galaxy was seen with them active in the battle of chintoka.  However, I'm not sure they'd have them on all the time.  Probably just for redundancy during the battle.

Technically, we never saw the Venture's impulse engines either way.   :D

Guys, if anyone has an issue not already covered in the readme, this thread or the one in Modding, please create a topic in techsupport.

I don't want to see any more posts about problems with this mod here.

Great ship, I too have that saucer warp bug...but it only works once. lol

Also guys, if you have one of DJ's other ships, eg. the Century, you should have the sounds. ;)

Again, great ship, probably the only Galaxy I'll ever use.

great ship, plays well with KM1.0 hardpoints. i expected it would kill my framerates like the CENebulas do, but this plays surprisingly well on my middle-of-the-road system :dance

I love it lol, I had the warp saucer bug but I decided to use MPE and delete the warp drive from the saucer HP LOL.  Took a screenie of her going into warp :D  And now I can't find it.

But, this ship is the shiznit, I'm very pleased with this ship, she looks sexy as all get out! :D.  DJ, you are da bomb LOL
