Well, I am going to try my first mod. We're watching "The Island" in AP Biology and I thought the uniforms could be adapted to fit the trek universe. I need some more source material though, here's what I have.

You're watching 'The Island'?!?

God I feel so sorry for you.

Terrible movie.

Good idea for a first mod though.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Wasn't SO bad, I can assure you I've seen worse movies ;) i.e. Spider-Man 3
not bad isea to put those uniforms in game, but use EF2 models instead of stock crew

I will pm Mark about the EF2 models, however, I think in the readme it said that retextures would not be allowed.

I pm'd Mark and he said no. That's ok because I was planning on doing Phase I as a simple retexture of the stock uniforms and Phase II as a new model build, in addition to textures.

I understand. The internet just doesn't translate my thoughts well. I wasn't expecting to be able to use them, and plus I get to try my hand at both modelling and texturing.

Sweet stuff
Thanks, you're kinda cute too.

Anyways, I could use some more refs if anyone can find them. Shots of the full body, either side or back would be wonderful. Also, how could I go about capturing screens from a dvd with my pc?

I believe most PC DVD players have screen capture functions.  as far as references, as I recall, the costumes were overall white except for the grey underarms

[Small] Update: Have finally started playing with Blender, and as such, will be starting this project from phase II and I will begin character modeling. If all goes well, this will be the first of (hopefully) many uniforms I produce.
