Yup. I've been doing the same process for all of my previous ships and they all worked fine. But this one is being a PAIN.

I'm still having issues with the city destroyer. The ship works great ingame since I have it overwriting the WC Doomsday Machine model. But when I make it as a unique ship, the hardpoint fails to load though it is the identical hardpoint I used before. What am I doing wrong?

At this rate, I do not think I can get these ships done by July. :(

Is it possible that the hardpoint for the Doomsday Machine was rewritten to be the same name as the HP for the city destroyer after you made it a unique ship?

I know that's a long shot but... just brainstorming here.

I finally got the ship finally working ingame. :dance Since the ship worked perfectly overwriting the WC Doomsday Machine, I changed all of the working WC Doomsday Machine files to be the unique ID4 ship. Now I'm going to make the closed weapon version.

And here is another BC first- the ID4 Alien Attacker. The poly amount is very low about 1k. The final amount could be around 1.5k poly. I also plan on doing 2 versions- Alien version, and the Captured Version with nuclear arsenal.

I've rebuilt the upper pod, and I've added indents into the main hull to separate the sections. I am also adding the engine area later- that's why there is nothing there. Oh yea, I've added textures (the neon colored bits are untextured sections). :) Right now, the fighter is at 2.6k polys.

That's a darn good ship you've got going, there.  I like the very strong lines on the pod neck!

Would be weird to have an interior of that thing in the game, though . . . cool, but weird.

The upperpod looks a little too small, but that might just be the angle of that picture.
