My bad, yes it was AWACS.

Well, technically, I think SWACS is more accurate.  Farshot's right, it's not Airborne, it should be Spaceborne Warning and Control System.  SWACS is used in a lot of fanon too.

Oh I see you're adapting the real military term for a Space.

I always liked the look of the non-3rd nacelle configuration when I was playing with my transwarping Enterprise in the 90s.

It looks like the forums are back up. During the downtime, I've joined this little group who has been developing a Star Trek mod for Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion, called "Star Trek Armada III."

Take a look at their Federation ships (and a Cardassian Station).

Scattered comm reports indicate that the WileyCoyote shipyards is building a large Federation ship designated the Epsilon Class. The ship is in a mid-stage of construction and areas are in transition such as the shuttlebay region.

He has also posted some of his starship designs on a 21st Century website called Sketchfab: https://sketchfab.com/michaelwileyart/models

Anyway guys/gals, I'm back and building stuff again. I've taken a break from making BC ships since I moved in with my brother and found a new job (took a few months). I've also made a cutaway of the new USS Enterprise: http://trekmodeler.deviantart.com/art/JJ-Enterprise-Cutaway-511151062 and it can be purchased from the link on that page.

I've been helping Flarespire work on his Unreal Engine 3 - Matt Smith Tardis Interior and other miscellaneous 3D he and Phoenix have been asking me.

Here's my new ship:

Hmm.. I have an idea.. Could this be made with an MVAM shuttlebay? Or a model of it with an open bay? ;) just an idea

I've changed the shuttlebay since my earlier post. I can still change it. I'm trying to make it not look like the Odyssey. Hmm, maybe something in the engineering hull scoop?

It was created specifically for Armada III.

Welcome Back Wiley!

This ship is BADASS looking. I am in love with the sharp angles at the back of the saucer! Can't wait to see this ship done!
