Dare notice the diff between these renders and the released ones (pic resolution is intentional for showing small bits of detail):

Hmmm if my memory was good enough to remember the difference between these renders and a set of renders from a while ago, than i would probably work for the CIA, needless to say, the illums look great, and i like the addition of having the glow from the impusle engines, show on the neck with your texture setup, very realistic mate.

Not just those mate, each lit window casts lightning now.

Soon as I revamp the textures with this new lightning. I'll include an update for the Late TMP versions too that are released (since it'll be a requirement anyway).

What symbol is that on the hull in front of the shuttle bay (next to the registry) ?
It could be just imagination but is that a Terran Empire symbol? or something else?

It's the shuttle approach vector signalization lol Just basically 4 yellow colored lines that show the middle of the shuttlebay width. It exists on all Fed ships. Think of it as a counterpart to the X on a helicopter landing pad.

I think I misphrased. I thought it was a shuttle bay on the rear part of the saucer.
It's that yellow-ish symbol I was referring to on that part of the ship.

That's the coat of arms of Dortmund (since this is USS Dortmund on the renders).

Do you mean the eagle insignia on the saucer?
