Are you sure you removed everything before you reinstalled?
All hail the messiah!

Everytime I try over I delete the entire BC main directory folder(C:/Programs Files/Activision/Bridge Commander)and then I go to my Settings/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and uninstall Scotchy's Galaxy there too. As for the BC Supermod(3.0), I can only delete my BC folder as I can't find anything pertaining to that mod in my Add or Remove Programs section. These are the only two places I'm aware off where either mods are installed, is there something somewhere else I'm missing that could be causing these crashes?

one thing I only just noticed myself is that if you have multiple installs on the same partition the batch file will remove all the files from the primary install and not the one you placed it in, thus rendering both broken, if that is the case you'll need to reinstall again (to replace the missing files) then manually remove them from the proper folder

Oh no! So the batch file could(has) removed not only files from my copied BC install in my C:/Programs Files/Activision/Bridge Commander(where the batch file is installed in) but also from my primary installs that's sitting in a folder located on my desk top? Come on ACES_HIGH, I know my days lately trying to mod my BC game hasn't been that great but are you saying it's this bad  :(. Please tell me I interpreted your post wrong(I'm about to break down and cry), cause I'm not all that clear on what you mean by ..if you have multiple installs on the same partition....

Here's the deal: CR's Supermod batch file is pointed to the auto location (C:\Program Files\Activision\Bridge Commander) so regardless of where you dropped the batch file or where you made your supermod install, it will delete the files from the aforementioned directory (if you do not have that directory, an error window will pop up.) It _will not_ delete file from any other area.

So, any install _not_ there _is_ safe.

OMG thank you, you just saved me a whole bus load of hurt. Sadly though I'm afraid I'm still stuck in square one.

Can anyone please help me out here?

I think we need to synchronized the information here.
Can you clearly describe the current problem you are now having?

It's actually a common, and entirely acceptable way of adding emphasis on the internet, especially in e-mails without HTML capabilities (or SMS text messages).

I'm trying to install Scotchy's Galaxy mod. I have done so several days ago(with none of this glitch I'm having now)but with texture problems. You(MLeo) suggested.....

It's a problem with a stock file, namely: Data/Models/SharedTextures/FedShips/Dauntless.tga
Rename the file to something else, I suggest: DauntlessDISABLED.tga

..but the thing is I since then deleted that install(the entire BC folder at C:/Programs Files/Activision/Bridge Commander and then uninstalled it at settings/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs)before I got this post. I've made another copy of my primary BC install and been trying to reinstall Scotchy's Galaxy mod but no matter how many times I try, I can't seem to now access the single player campaign in testmode..the game keeps crashing to the desktop after the loading screen(everytime and this is like my fourth time trying now)even without changing the stock Dauntless shared texture. The odd thing is that when I installed the BC supermod(3.0)the first time it also worked but with the same texture problems with the Galaxy class, I've also deleted that entire BC install several days ago but now that I try to install it again on a fresh new copy of my primary BC install, it crashes the same way after I try to access any of the missions in single player campaign(regular mode since I didn't know or used BC test mode the first time)...can anyone please help me?

Okay I finaly figured out why the game keeps crashing on me whenever I decide to use Scotchy's galaxy for the single player campaign(neglected to turn off all the mutators beforehand)but I'm still faced with this missing texture issue....

..Mleo, I know you suggested that I rename the shared Dauntless texture but that didn't work(even tried deleting that entire texture as well as the med and low counterparts...same result). I don't understand, when I plug this ship in for quick battles the textures for the U.S.S. Dauntless all come out normal(but of course I have to turn all the mutators back on). Please, do you or anyone else out there have any other suggestions regarding this missing texture problem on Scotchy's galaxy?

Now, in this case, it would appear it can't find the textures in the first place.
Seems you also deleted the default texture.

....but MLeo all I deleted was the old Dauntless.tga(high, med, and low)shared textures, left all the other files alone(just those three). Tried turning just the Scothcy's galaxy mutator back on and went for the very first mission but resulted in another crash :(.

Did you delete "Ent-D_topdish_ID_glow.tga"?

No but because I'm completely out of options here I did went ahead and tried deleting that along with several other Ent-D related old texture files but....

......same result(even in test mode). I'm begining to think now that this may not be a texture related isssue at all but more of a script problem somewhere. Is there maybe a file located alse where in charge of importing the U.S.S. Dauntless registered SNS_Galaxy for the single player campaign in much the same manner as how you can select the U.S.S. Dauntless specificly in quick battles as one of the Galaxy sub menu?

Having screwed up the BC install that I was using from trying anorthadox methods of fixing this problem, I ended up deleting that entire BC folder. I of course made another copy of my primary Nano FX BC install and again installed Scotchy's Galaxy class unto it. With nothing to loose and knowing now what I didn't know then(about turning off the mutators)I decided to pay another visit to the standard(no test mode)single player campaign, turned off all the mutators and loaded my saved episode 2(mission 3)and guess what..I had that crooked textures on the Dauntless again(similar to the very first time I had this texture problem)so automatically MLeo's advise kicked in about the Dauntless shared textures and so I went over and deleted it. loaded the mission again and I was presented with an actuall glowing deflector dish and textures for the top part of the naccelles(finaly!)however there was no U.S.S. Dauntless registry, just the textured saucer section so having remembered an ID shared texture for the ship with no registry from when I was pouring through all this mods textures, I decided to replace it with the Dauntless ID texture......

...worked like a charm! Woohooo!!Finaly got to replace all these stock ships with high quality ones....YEEEEEAAAA!!!!Thanks allot you guys for trying to help out, I really really appreciate it.
