Got the Galaxy Krik rigged up for his videos so there more continuity. Looks better too :P So here's v2 of that shot with more realistic glowy bits!

FYI buddy, I dimmed the self illum for the impulse engines and had the registry and bridge illums off. :oops: Forgot about that.

I think the blue on the galaxy's engines is a little too blue, apart from that, an excellent render.

Sure.
The shuttles have been bombarding a planet with high yield radioactive rounds when the USS Saratoga arrives. After trying to peacefully to get the shuttles to stop, they are left with no choice but to show some force.

Ignore the nacelle flickering on the second video, I have since fixed the issue.

not bad, although the other shuttles should be knocked around a bit by the explosions, they wouldn't just stay still.

its a custom I made for a ship that's going to be in my fanfic, its been converted into a civilian ship, hence the NAR registry and the M/V prefix.  That's also why the Torpedo tubes have been replaced by cargo doors.
