You might want to fiddle with the lens flare settings a bit. Lower the number of flare spikes to about 10 (or less) and set the lens flares to "Size affected by Distance" (can be found as little tick boxes in the Effects menu).

I'm not so sure about the huge Starfleet emblem emblazoned on the side. Intriguing idea though.

A really good technique to use with the BSG ships is to put the diffuse texture in the bump material property. It works really well on BSG ships from the S1-2 pack.

Dalek, add a glow effect in post to those pulses. It'll help hide the fact that they're only a few polies. ;)

No, just go into render>video post. It'll be in there. I'll walk you through it once limey and I finish up MW2.

Some gloweyness has been incorporated.

Yea, that looks much better now :)

EDIT: I has a suggestion. Cold you make the pulses and torpedoes go in more random directions? Not TOO random, mind you, just spread out a little.

EDIT 2: Added a new pic.

Beautiful, my only suggestion is to make the atmosphere hug the surface a little more.

Good idea. I've received more ideas from Kirk so although animation wise I won't re-render it, I will come back to it later for pretty pictures. :)

Its really short, I know. But it took 4 and a half hours to render at 1080p. If you want me to upload the high res version, let me know.

Please let me know what you think. :)
