You need to attach and weld the registry to the rest of the saucer.

I posted an image in this thread a while back, and while it was a great image, it was lacking in some areas as I've improved with Poser, and the story behind the image has changed, I've wanted to update it, but I just haven't gotten around to it until now.  I recently upgraded to a widescreen monitor, and the old image, which had graced my previous monitor's wallpaper was looking rather stretched, so I decided to re-render it, and not only make it a native widescreen format, but also address the other problems it had.

The 2 things to make that more accurate is by turning off the Self Illuminations and somehow got red of that annoying pinky tint that seems to effect everything in your renders.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

Sneak peek at a world to be featured in Earth-Link: Zero, which is now being made into a movie:

Lol, how did you made those rings? :O tube + diffuse + transperancy? Add to the render and a sun which the planet hides a half of the sun. Make the glow and the rays allways behind and add horizontal streak. It would be cool. Try that way
EDIT: and add one cool background

The rings were made using a tube, then using a gradiant ramp set to radial. The planet doesn't exist in real space, but it exists in a dimension known as the Void, where there is almost nothing visible besides the ships and life-forms that inhabit it and very few planets. Won't say more than that though ;)

The USS Swiftsure departs Spacedock, unaware that it is going to help later decide the fate of the Earth...

(Part of a storyline I'm thinking of doing.)
