Well, I appreciate the upload, but I don't have a program that can open ODT files . . . they seem to be too far along the MS evolutionary ladder for my poor system! :funny  Any other format you could post that in?

That warp effect inspires me to try replicating the XI starstreaks.

Haha, I remember actually attempting a combo of the JJ-Warp and the standard warp styles a while back.

Oh, Shat.  The Borg have assimilated the TARDIS.  We are all so boned . . . :funny

I really like that.  Lovely curves and colors!

Haha, I remember actually attempting a combo of the JJ-Warp and the standard warp styles a while back.

It's not bad, all I can say is that you need to skew the procedural if you attempt it again. Maybe try stretching it 4-5x along the y than the x, then just set the z scale to something ridiculous. That alone winds up with a pretty spiffy effect (No post processing required!). Actually, maybe I'll submit something to show how it winds up for me when I do it. I also managed to make a very neat slipstream out of procedurals last night. It's amazing what you can do with procedural textures...  :funny

EDIT:

Threw this together in a few minutes, nothing fancy. Didn't want to sit around doing nothing for a half hour so there's no aa, motion blur, bloom, glow etc. If I have some time over the weekend I'll put together a longer clip with better detail.  :funny That's Cavan Millward's Patriot btw.

I'll be damned, I didn't know about LCs ship (it's not on BCFiles) otherwise I would have pulled the Aegis.  are we sure it's the same ship?  does anyone have a link to LCs?

I think Dalek's right. That's Cavan's, I just remembered it was called the Patriot.

Yeah, sorry about that, I must've gotten my readme's mixed up when I was posting.  :banghead: Edited/fixed.

Just messing with warp flashes, after I threw this together I had the idea to put the backdrop on a plane, and warp that into a half bubble, sort of like the slipstream "system" in BC. Should look cool.

I can't seem to nail the timing on the warp flash and its intensity... Any tips?
