No offense Vladko1, but isn't this thread supposed to be about SciFi Renders?

Maybe if it was a Delorean, Knight Rider, etc.

Anyways, I've uploaded new videos to my youtube page. The Wrath of Khan one was done in early July, the Armageddon intro was done a few days ago. Both are test animations. Enjoy!

DAMMMM, Wiley! Awesome job!

OK, heres a new animation keeping a few tips from Kirk in mind. Credits are in the video.

(Note to self, keep the ship in view when the camera swings around next time.)

Not bad, but slow it down. :P You have too much happening in too short a time. Also, make sure we can see the galaxy turn to face the romulans. Right now it almost looks like one second its facing the camera and the next its facing away.

Thanks. :) I do have other ideas for animations once I learn how to animate/compose weapons and explosions into them. I try to create existing scenes before I do something from scratch. I have some pretty big ideas.

I always like to see new interior sets, how much are you going to do?

Haven't decided. I've been working on main engineering on the side in between modding projects but I haven't touched it since I started up "Sins of our Fathers". I've been working at the bridge as well.

So far all I have planned are the Bridge, ready room and observation lounge/officer's meeting room thing, Crew and officer's quaters, shuttle bay, jeffries tubes. I suppose I'll likely do cargo bays and sickbay, for the sake of completeness, but I haven't a clue how I want a lot of this to look... The Mithra's a unique ship, so I want her interior to reflect the uniqueness of one of the federation's few battleships. :]

Edit: While I'm still stroking my ego, I'll post up a few extra shots of other rooms I've not shown before, and the new and much improved Mithra bridge.

Very, very cool Aeries!

Wiley, great work! You've managed something I cannot, cameras. I hate, hate, hate doing camera movement.

Haha, that reminds me that I never finished working on my remade version of Prelude To War...thanks for the cookie, comments and feedback everyone.

And Aeries, SUPERB work on the interiors!

Not actually a very good render at all, but it's a render and I figured I'd show off some of the assets I've aqquired. These'll (when I gain some kind of method for converting them) be brought into BC (I hope).
