If anything those pulses don't even seem to fire fast enough considering the speed of the sound itself. But its very good. :)

Thanks everyone! :D

Heres another test I did, mostly to show off my learning of using deflectors in conjunction with the particle systems in Max. It wasn't quite as good as I thought it would be, but hey, Im still learning. (I also know that my pulse blasts could look a little nicer too.)

Dalek, your renders are very good, but try to make the streak of the lens smoother :)

That looks like a far more realistic lens flare.

On a closer inspection, the lighting on the front of the ship looks a little too much considering the sun is behind the ship. Unless of course this is a binary pulsar sytem :P

In light of this I've made a new render which is more nebulous and the flare has been removed entirely. Any extra light I blame on the nebulas. :P

I got my hands on a plugin called Max2AE, this is going to allow me to create more advanced effects in my videos. Heres a little test I did with the plugin (this video is to mostly show off the lens flare).

I've been working on that corridor set baz sent me, and it's looking pretty close to TNG canon now.

Forgive the Voyager doors, that's just so it fits with my other sets
