Wonderful! Are you going to be releasing the 1701 registry when you release the ship?

I may or may not.  I do plan on releasing the blanks with the ship, so people can do custom registries if they like.  I'm doing as much work right now with renders so that when I release the ship for BC and also on Scifi-Meshes, at least there's evidence that I made the model in case someone tries to claim the ship as their own.  I've also got Meteorafallen helping me with making renders as well.

Another Normandy shot, Enjoy :D

I forgot to tell everyone, I'm back to work on my website, gonna get things going again soon. I've also redesigned my gallery, and there's a handful of new images over there, feel free to take a look.

These aren't the only two that I've done lately ;)

Recently had the inspiration to whip these two renders up, as part of a new project Im working on. Credit goes to Wiley for the Valkyrie. Im going to be tweaking the HUD in the future.

This was NOT done in a game engine, just so everyone knows.

I love these little guys

My first thought upon seeing tht (gorgeous) image was "those valkyries are going to investigate who tilted the Earth off it's axis!"

Klingon Academy now works on XP/Vista/Win 7 thanks to one dude's patches, click here for details. I highly recommend it!

yeah, the lighting in that one does seem rather unnatural.  All you really need to do is tilt the Earth a bit.  IIRC, the terminus should be at a 23.5 degrees angle to the axis, that one is almost 45 degrees

Glad to see people still love that old kitbash of mine.  And damn, that's one fine render.

Thanks guys. :D

Heres a test I did with Volumetrics in After Effects. Might I say it was a lot less time consuming than rendering the volumetrics in Max!

Y'know on the earth axis bit it could be the angle of the camera....it might actually be tilted correctly :P  :hide

That's not it.  Compare the terminus of the light/dark sides to the axis through the poles.  Should be within 23.4 degrees of each other.  That doesn't appear to be the case.
