I changed the DS9 model to the one from the Aftermath mod, it's not accurate, but it's more greebled than the stock one so it looks better close up.  I also tweaked the lighting and shadow settings to look more dynamic.

TBH i believe that the aftermath ds9 is one of the best out there, crisper textures would make sure of that. Excellent pic too.

it's missing some key details, namely some of the windows and the Ops tower aren't quite right, but they definitely spent more polys on the model than TG did on the BC one.

Ive taken the liberty of upgrading my old Earth setup with some ultra-resolution textures. Theres a similar image of this setup somewhere in this thread. The Starbase is done by Raul Mamoru and the Enterprise is by DJ Curtis. Rendered with 3ds Max and After Effects. Not sure if Ill make a video of this yet or not, unless anyone wants to see :)

I like it. Since it seems to be a future Miranda, it will be nice looking cannonfodder for battles :D

His star trek
Will go on forever.
But tell him
While he wanders his starry sea

look through Drexler's blog, he periodically posts pages from the old calenders, search for the "SOTL flashback" entries.

So, you've never been around any calender section at any store in the last 10+ years? They go back atleast that far.

I've been looking for a SOTL calender for years, they don't seem to sell them round here.
Did you know I'm on Twitter?

I've had to get the last couple on amazon.com, they can be hard to find.

All the models in this render are BAZ/SFR&D, I apologize to Baz for cutting up his ship.

Nice picture, but it could use a different angle, and maybe in orbit of a planet. You can barely see all the little worker bees in action.

Here's a newer render of my Enterprise-E.
