Can I ask how you exported a model from STO?  I'd love to know so I can keep working on my Ent F and use the STO mesh as a reference.

Check your PMs.  Unfortunately, no UV or texture data is captured, but you can look at screenshots for those I guess.  I'll suspend my continued Odyssey class work and just focus on what's currently on my plate. ;)

This was supposed to be a film grain test, but youtube really killed the quality. -.- I still figured it was worth sharing though. Credits are in the video.

5 months is far too long to have not done a render. Latest one featuring the Normandy.

Is thier a free program where thier is a way to do rendering? It would be helpful in conjuction with my Photoshop stuff. Nice pic too I like the planets.

Well I use 3DS Max for all my renders in conjunction with pre and post processing done in Photoshop. So if you don't have Max already, you could always "borrow" it from Pirate Bay lol

I've been playing about with a model I made ages ago, decided to try and do a proper render and came out with this. It's a mix of the Mk1 and the latest version.

I also have a few older renders I've done as well of another model.

I just finished my latest fanfic, and I'm talking with the people over at TrekUnited about having it included in their next fanzine.  In the meanwhile, I've just finished the preliminary coverart for my next story, I suppose this could go in either here or the photoshop thread, it's a heavy mix of both, including some rendering and shopping techniques that I've never really tried out before.
