Use the latest CGI Voyager and Delta Flyer, these are amateurish!

I would also cut the lighting way down, they come off too brightly

That new Voyager pic is good, although with the BOP, and the way the previous Voyager pic was set up, I'm wondering if you are using too much ambient light, or are setting the speculars too high or something, they just don't look right.

That could also come from the Lens-flares or other post Editing (<- graphics Noob at work here).

the lense flare was done in 3DS not post rendering. Maybe it was the omi-light i placed there or it was because i saved the pic as a jpeg with some smoothing...

lens flares do not affect the lighting. it is only a post-rendered effect. ;)

id personally drop off the ambient lighting a touch. its the shadows that i think arent sitting right and screwing with lighting depth.

are you using VRay, or the default scanline?

otherwise that BOP render looks good!
I came, i saw, i added a Sig.
Later gents, i have Youtube to take over.

Forgot to add the x-wing to my USB so had some fun with the Spacedock with my Refit Excelsior and Wiley's Refit Connie.
