Cardassian Bridge (st3 bop retexture )
« on: January 04, 2009, 05:41:29 PM »
hi guys..I'm hoping to do somemore bridges

I relised after the Romulan one, that although we have had sme non federation bridges before..they are very few and far between and some..i hope i don't offend anyone..some just don't feel quite..right

I'm doing a retexture of the defiant for the Klingon bridge, apart from the front helm console its very klingon-esque in design anyway plus the chunky seats make it look more Klingon

the Cardassian bridge..i dunno wether to use the NX bridge or the Star Trek 3 BoP bridge, the NX is suitable for its very industrial look (which as mentioned i DS9 cardassians like that sort thing..seeing the supports n pillars n stuff and the BoP again is industrial..but also the elevated captains chair and viewscreen remind me not so much of the design od DS9'sops but its ethos..the captians office/ commanders office being high up so all must look up to him..as an all seeing overseer

what you think?

i've retextured the bop bridge to be a cardassian ship bridge it actually works better as a cardassian bridge

one thing you'll notice the station i put behind saffi in place of the recessed wall with the klingon emblem, i figured i could imagine it being like a console she could use to call up info n stuff

what ya think?

I preferred the older ones, these look like fiesta party colors. Also, they're a bit blurry.

It's not the direction I'm concerned about, it's the color.
