(tutorial) needed on bridges
« on: January 06, 2009, 07:01:03 PM »
Does anybody know if there is a tutorial on building bridges on milkshape or 3d max, because I would
like to start making or editing bridge of my own. I got the retexturing down and I have both of these
programs but not sure where to start. :arms:

Far as I know you'd have to get somebody to teach you, as I don't recall there ever being a written tutorial handy.

I model in MAX. First thing to do is pick or design the bridge you want to build. If you are designing your own keep it simple and don't over clutter.

I then create a tube with at least 50 sides and 8 steps and convert to a poly and feather them in. There you go the starting of a TMP era bridge.

Building them are easy converting for the game is the tricky part which I'll soon discover how tricky.
