I'll be waiting for the new model to rebuild the MSD, as well :).

Over thirty days already? This forum is deeeeeaaadd.

This is the Late TMP bridge completely retooled colorwise into something more TMPish and their ugly pastels.

Bad news. My BIOS crashed massively and I had to reformat the computer. I lost all of the work on what I have started. I will have to rebuild them from scratch, although that is definitely not the end of the world.

Reminder to everyone to BACK UP!

Aww. :( I'm sorry to hear that buddy... I'm sure you'll do an even more superb job the second time around though! Never give up! :D

Reminder to everyone to BACK UP!

Sorry to hear about crash too and deepest sympathies.  I had a drive die on me back in Jan for no reason and was a major pain as hadn't backed up for a while so lost a few things.  As everyone says, always good idea to keep it regular  :D    if any help, just let me know.  PS:  did you get the crew files OK?

I feel sorry for you Barihawk. But I think that there's still hope.
Try PC Inspector Data recovery. I'm not sure if it can restore files from fomatted drives but I think it's worth a try:

I don't know if I am going to enter it into the contest or not but I'm working on turning the Miranda bridge into the Pegasus V3. It will be the ultimate Oberth Experience (TM) and will use the Active LCARS helm display.

Just playing around with it I replaced a lot of the textures with the ones from the FC Excelsior Bridge and it looked really awesome so that might be my starting off point.

Extraordinarily early WIP. The lightmaps are completely off, I need to redo the rusted wall textures, and my goal is to have all the lights with that orangish color.

The bridge overall is going to be very dark. With the exception of the displays, of course, which will illuminate the bridge.

Guess what it is? :P

That looks really cool!
Have you thought of using the command chair consoles from the uss sa? paulo in "ds9: the dogs of war".
heres a link to what i mean~
&feature=related
its at 1:34 that you see the bridge. Its a flatter panel and i think it looks alot cooler ^^ the other big change is having a console instead of a table in the back~ it makes more sense to me.... I found a link to the bridge on flicker~ though the command consoles are sorta wrong> it shows you the correct rear console~ http://www.flickr.com/photos/fadmvulcan/3056822655/sizes/o/
It reminds me of Staffis post on a nebula class bridge :)
*edit* at 3:07 in the video you can see the rear console well

I would if I had decent modelling skills, but at this point it's out of the question. I've only started reading blender tutorials in the last week or so, and I imagine most of my early modelling endeavors will be going towards ships at first, although I would like to help New Gen with some bridges in return for helping me get them ingame.

No, I'm not. I just know nothing about scripting so I'd just pass over the textured model to them to work on. Which is probably how my ship models are going to go down, so expect me to pass them on to Starforce and have them released in 6-7 months :P.

I see you guys found my Flickr site. Use it in good health. I just updated it with the Sutherland and Jenolan bridges.

Updated. Still needs some work on the environment before I start working on panels.
