I got to agree too it looks better with the sec hull on top. And seemingly more in line with what we seen on JJ-Verse ship designs like the Kelvin.
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

I agree it looks better with a secondary hull, but think it should be on the bottom, not the top.

Well, if you do that then you can't call it a Constellation class now can you?
All hail the messiah!

ooooh boy, i can see where that would take us...  modders will now start making all sorts of weird and backward-looking strange designs and kitbashes of current ships, all to be called "JJ-verse" lol :P
how about a JJ-verse Galaxy, where we'll put the Engineering section off to the left of the saucer, slap on a Nebula weapons pod on the bottom, we'll put the nacelles on top and voila!  lol j/k

(sorry, offtopic; couldnt resist)

Ummm, FourChan, couldn't TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT be considered sick and twisted views of Star Trek?  Especially the latter three?  Don't say you won't like something that you haven't seen yet. :P

Nooo, I prefer some of the more reasonable fan projections on that refit, thank you very much.  That's horrendous.  johnnymuffintop's conjecture comes to mind.

Anyways Aeries, you might try letting the nacelles lose some weight.  That may help the balance of a design that always had fairly small engines.

Ouch Shadow, but agreed, it was horrendous.

I've been working on some ideas, talking with a few people. And what I'm not thinking for the refit is nacelles similar to the engines of General Grievous' starfighter in Star Wars Episode III.
Since the lead designer of the new ship was the same as the Star Wars prequels, I've been looking towards them for inspiration, might help you too Aeries. Seeing as how the new Enterprise does look a little like an Empirial crossed with a Naboo ship attempting to be the Enterprise. :p
