Blender users... need help.
« on: March 24, 2009, 06:01:18 PM »
I just got into modelling with Blender, and while I know i'm doing a lot wrong, wh doesn't when they first start?

Anyway. I screwed up on this model. I tryed to follow a schematic but it didn't work out to well.  Rather then lop it off and rebuild it, how can I make the area the arrow is pointing to to be nice and smooth?

While I don't use Blender myself (I use Lightwave 7) you would usually just add more sections by cutting into that whole block, and then from there manipulating the newly made slices by the verts until it looks smooth, basically just pulling them out away from the center.

Shouldn't the "set smooth" button give you what you want?
All hail the messiah!
