Looks amazing..MAJOR change from the last images you posted...one more teeny, tiny nitpick though...his doesn't have the the sensor with the floodlights on it like yours does...its just a round dome similar to the top of the bridge...

I'm declaring the modelling phase of this ship over.

Final poly count 22k.

Will start to modify the Enterprise textures where I can and make up new ones for the new parts.

sorry for double post.

She may not be 100% like Doug's but I have tried to add some elements from the shooting model.

Great work! Really spot on, you even corrected some of the more rushed elements of Doug's CGI version (like the a-symmetry top to bottom in his nacelle cross-pylons)!

One element both his and yours missed from both physical models is the patch of ribbed plating on either side of the connie necks, close to the saucer.

Klingon Academy now works on XP/Vista/Win 7 thanks to one dude's patches, click here for details. I highly recommend it!

Well at this stage the model is mapped so no further additions I'm afraid.

The ship has the enterprise textures applied and a basic aztec where I had to build new parts.

Please bare in mind these new ones and the Enterprise texture are not 100% finished for this ship

That's a great start.  I like this polished Constellation look.  The only ones you seen in TNG are old, broken down pieces of crap.  Here we see a brand new off the line Constellation and she's not bad at all :)

The first Constellation I ever saw was yellow. It was the Stargazer came in the Star Trek Micro Machines packs.

Are you looking at making this a pack, baz? I know there were at least two other Constellations (the class ship itself, and the...Victory, I think?)...just curious.

The USS Serenity NCC-7100 is sort of a made up ship.  The hull # NCC-7100 came from the model in Picards readyroom, and the name USS Serenity was madeup.

The Constellation was also listed as an NX at one point (the Operation: Retrieve maps in Star Trek VI).

Right, enough derailing the thread. Let us wait for more baz goodness. Everyone, start baking more cookies! We're gonna need more!
