The entire bridge needs to be brightened up quite a bit.
In that last shot, the area where those two stations are show how the majority of the bridge will be lit.
just wing it, using the official sites interface as a guide.
Oh I plan too. This is going to be fun, I've never done LCARS before.
I like what youve done here, but the light bloom adds a lot to the look of the bridge which is something you wont have in Bridge Commander...
:( I know, but hey, at least my WIP renders look pretty cool. :)

Amen to that, good practise for releasing a bridge for Excal! :P!!

...Probably not, but the number I get(379.6m) could be considered ?original intent,? a term that I think I will be using from now on, and ?canon? be damned.

well thats deceiving lol - youre gonna make everyone think thats how it will look ingame for them :P
you should post actual ingame shots moreso than renders which look all pretty and stunning, but wont look like that for anyone when they play :P

looks awesome so far.  you just need to figure out how to get that bridge plugin that makes the viewscreen a fixed window to work.

I remember we had something to ssimulate bloom, it was added to Defiant and Sovereign sets and worked with enchanced glows turned on tho I can't recall what was that mod and if it's still around...

I've circled some things that I think desperately need to be corrected... imo they look really silly given that they're like randomly placed polkadots. :P

:hide Don't look at my I didn't do the original unwrapping.

(Seriously though, that is a good point. I've already made some adjustments to the model. I may just model in those lights.)

you should post an ingame shot, something without the light bloom (if BC wont do that ingame)...
so far, tho - the bridge is looking great :)

Ingame comes when she's done. For all new renders though (which will come when I've done some more with this ) I'll pull the enhanced glows (or just aim for a more BC-like effect.)

ya please, if you dont mind some real-time pics like that (even in MPE) :)
i dont mean to seem like a grinch or a killjoy (and please forgive me if im seeming rude, i really dont mean to be) lol
but i would really like to see how it would look when i play it ingame, rather than the enhanced flashy pretty effects that wouldnt be seen in my (or anyones) install anyway :)
i like where youre going with it so far!  i would just like to possibly please see it without all the touch-ups-for-screenshots :)

Hmm... can enhanced glows not apply to the bridge view and not just the external ship view? If we could find a way to do THAT, then these effects could be possible......
