And I don't know if this counts as funny shit, but I have rigged for fun a worthless electronic alarm clock, with some worthless left over desktop pc speakers, either not worth the postage cost for selling them in ebay. Puny 2x12W ones, but with volume at maximum they make noise alright.
So I tested it, satisfied that it makes to have the loudest alarm clock around, and went out, forgetting to turn off the alarm clock rather than snooze it.
I got a phone call later from the neighbors that the fire alarm in the house has gone off (because it makes a "tou-tou-tou-tou" sound like an alarm)
"the? What? Ah... that must be my alarm clock..." :lol:
