Lol I probably won't make that mistake if I ever get back into BC. Kinda stopped playing STO. Back in the early days, I could play it well on my laptop, but each update just makes it harder and harder on my computer.

I know what you mean. There's a bunch of people who have been saying the same thing over at the sto forum, but everyone else over is all "LALALA NO-YOU-MUST-BE-WRONGLALALALA".

Don't get me wrong, updating the graphics is a good thing. I've always thought there were bits that could benefit from an update. But it seems more and more they forget that they need to optimize for lower end computers.

Hell, even my new rig chugs a bit. It could probably do with a total refactoring, which is never going to happen
