If you are on Vista, then it's possible there are files in other locations.

Otherwise, removing both the py and the pyc file from scripts/Custom/Ships ought to remove it.
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

It's very important that for a particualar ship that you remove both it's py and it's pyc file.
Say you want to remove the ship "MyEnterprise" found in myenterprise.py then you also need to remove myenterprise.pyc

I take it you are on Vista?
I'm afraid I don't exactly know, but you could try and moving/copying your Bridge Commander from C:\Program Files\Activision\ to C:\Games\

yea, i am on vista.. ill try your suggestion and let you know how it works out..

EDIT: omg, my game is 14 gigs big..   lol..
EDIT2: 1hour + for copying the folder.. tried something else and i think i solved it, by opening the .py file and removing everything in it, writing

Code: [Select]
#please be gone now you stupid ship
and saving it.. :p

If your Program files directory install is Activision\Bridge commander then just go Start -> Run and type

Code: [Select]
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Activision\Bridge Commander
Alternatively you can type

Code: [Select]
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files
Then just navigate to the directory. This will lead you to Virtual Store program files directory.

Go into your BC directory and there should be a button around the top that says "Compatabillity Files". When you click on it it takes you to the hidden Virtual Store section of your harddrive. You should be able to find the leftover files.
