I have something neat to show off. I made the glowing interior of the shuttle bay, although the scene I'm rendering doesn't use it.

Send. Now.

Now for something completely (not) different:

Very Nice. I like. Now how are you going to do the captain? Actually do a model of him? Or just keep with the exterior of the shuttle craft.

I have actually been looking at rigging a head, but whether I actually do redo the interiors shots or not, I don't know. At the worst, I would just stick with the current interior shots rather than replacing them with exteriors.

Much better!!!  I'd give you an enthusiastic thumbs up, or a dancing smiley face, but I can't.  :(

Looking at it again, the only improvement I can see would be to slow down the camera rotation a bit.  I started getting a little dizzy the second time I watched it.

Really? Me and Dalek think its worse :P Because theres nothing to compare the Dauntless to, it looks like its moving down rather than the camera moving up. I'll wait for some more opinions before rendering it out properly.
As for the speed of rotation, it's not really something that can change. It needs to pick the Dauntless up and move with it.

I think that test render looks fine. I'll have to send you my updated galaxy though. It uses more finalPlugins and looks better for it :D Plus more glow continuity.

Oh, sweet. A TOS styled Wiley JJPrise.
Although, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for one with twirling bussards like this pack: http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/TOS_Constitution_Pack;39872

Looks like the nemesis dock is winning! I'll see if I can make the changes soon. Some new shots from Sean's Defiant bridge v3.

at least SOMEONE'S making an attempt at a JJ bridge..  i didn't get to see too much of anything, I was busy observing the Blue Bishonen ghetto sitting in the chairs (and that includes the guy playing Chris Pike!)
OS novel fan

Coming Soon: King's Mod Tuning Shop

best line I've ever read
Me: mine [my bridges] would probably be simple to get the characters to use.  the only person that sits is the captian.
Baz: space is vast there[sic] legs will be tired by the time they get to the next planet

Yes, but this is not the place for arguing about that.

More pretties stuffz Kirk? :)
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."
