Faulty hardpoint
« on: July 21, 2009, 11:15:17 AM »
I'm currently testing Markyd's USS Atraiu "Doomsday Destroyer" and I got the problem down to the ship's hardpoint. From what Markyd has told me, this script was made by Starforce. The ship works fine ingame when it's using another ship's HP. But by using this "correct" HP, it just crashes the game. I'd like to get this fixed instead of making a new one from scratch.

Could it be the shuttle bay?

Could be. I removed the OEP one and it still crashes.

What about the script that points the shuttles to the main ship? Could that be faulty (if it is the shuttle launching that is the problem)?

question in the ship.py is the HP name matching the HP.py files name correctly?? case and all??

edit: it could also be a system in the HP that is named wrong or is missing code.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

Some of the flags (primary, critical,..) were set wrongly.
