Sovereign hull damage issue
« on: July 26, 2009, 02:46:42 PM »
okay, somehow when I use the sovereign class (Kobayashi maru 1.0 version) if the hull takes a minor beating (hull still within 90% or above) it looks as if certain sections have completely vanished. case in point, this was after a minor skirmish

is there any fix for this issue?

As it has been said, many, many times before, delete the _vox.nif for the sovereign.

data/models/ships/name of ship....
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

does this also apply to other ships that have polygons dissapear instead of showing damage?    i have this trouble with someone's conversion of the trek parody ship NSEA protector.

it is a good practice to periodically go through and delete all the _vox.nif files

Vox files are generated automatically, when needed. If the ship doesn't damage (for some reason) then no vox file is created.
