Defiant V4.0
« on: August 15, 2009, 09:11:05 PM »
Hi Guys.

Just finished model for a Version 4 of the Defiant Bridge.

At the moment its the main version of the bridge seen in the series, however i intend to make the Version when we first see the Defiant, The Holo-Com Version and also the renamed Sou Paulo from the series finale.

Any way enough talk, Pics attached.

I am a total supporter of this idea :P. The Sao Paulo version would make a much better BoP bridge than the one right now, with the extra stations back there.

Very cool.
I wish that the Defiant's bridge in the game "DS9: The Fallen" was made like this.

The LCARS on the helm look 'wobbly' but it is otherwise a great surprise.

I was just thinking a moment ago while on the defiant bridge "Someone needs to do a V4 and fix the funky texture on the Helm light" lol.

When you mean "the first time we see the defiant" you mean where there was no MSD, and the Plaque was there instead?

Will the textures be more in line with the other recent 3rd Era bridges (like the FC Excelsior) with "solid" textures? Or will they be like V3 and have semi-transparent textures on the walls? Because those kill me :P

Not sure what you mean there, but will have animated LM and the walls will not be glowing red during red alert like existing versions.

a new version will finally work with my BC.  the last Defiant bridge i grabbed  didn't work (seems some bits were missing or something).

is it peices of the actual model thats missing or just the textures?
if its the textures, try redownloading the mod and reinstalling.

The Defiant setup sorta reminds me of the K'T'inga bridge from TMP, for some reason...

Exactly what I am going to do for the Sao Paulo version. Redemption II was on just last night, actually.
