and keep an eye on the registry.. I've noticed some cases where laziness had taken over, and there was un-mirrored registeries.. I mena.. er, yeah, I guess you know what I'm after, so..  :D now, get back to work, I want to give this baby a spin around the quadrant..  :dance and maybe give some Romulans a fright.  :funny

M: This is a kit bash, i can't build a model from scratch yet, but i'm learning as i go.

Hobbs: How's work going on the scripts? Once i get them fro you i'll open a bata test and then releases this bad boy.

I'v finshed the tweek on the MK 1. I'v been really busy with my compiny with lots of work on my plate. The Corinium is bigger than the Sovy and i fixed most of the models. Some texture work still need to be done on the pod and some tweaks with Kirks re textures will be made also. The mod will have a battle scars texture and also have a blank ID file so you can make your own name plus the USS CORINIUM and one with a forward shuttle bay. Let me know what you think.

I see you've enlarged saucer section much but you left windows same as on regular Sovereign, you might consider changing it ;) maybe adding some additional rows of windows could help, just take a look on Galaxy and Mnemosyne you could make windows the same way

Bones: Good idea, i'll have to try to do that.

Hobbs: I'll add some phaser strips . I was thinking we would defiantly want to lunch shuttles, as many as possible, plus the captains yate. Slipstream, the pulse phasers to the forward turrets, faster impulse, hull, armor, and what ever you would like.

well.... i think it looks a little too fat for my taste. i would make its proportions similar to that of the sovereign, since it really looks like modified sovereign-class. for example the nebula and the galaxy. they have about the same proportions, except for the  engineering section.

I would have liked the thought of it being faster then the sovereign. something like a large raider class or so. thats what i always had in mine for the chayenne and constellation classes and i think it makes sense here, doesnt it? i mean it has less phaser coverage then the sovy, why make it bigger? this would only slow it down in my opinion and make its blind spots bigger. just some thoughts of mine  ;)

hi guys.

I'm sorry but i would very much prefer the ship to be larger... my design originally was deep range exploration ship with capability to build starfleet installations (mining, outposts, subspace relays etc...)

It could not be a raider as standard due to the federations non-aggression standings.

my comprise to you is this:

have one ship as a pre NX corinium... what i mean is have the "pathfinder" as a modified soverign so original size then have the Corinium as the redesigned version that is larger and the production model.

i will redo the history to incorporate this if you want.

edit: here is the edit :)

NX CORINIUM
CORINIUM CLASS
DEEP RANGE EXPLORER / RESUPPLY AND REPAIR SHIP
The CORINIUM CLASS is a redesign of the SOVEREIGN CLASS, the CORINIUM is bigger and has many unique features that raises it above the Sovereign.

The CORINIUM has had many changes through out her design and construction, originally designed as a sovereign variant which would increase its speed and range by upgrading the warp core and adding two more nacelles, it was seen as some what of a success but not to the standards set in the design, the basic hull shape was re-examined and it was decided that a larger hull was required to allow for the level of exploration that Starfleet and the federation required.
The larger re-design was originally to house a large hanger bay in the saucer and also to have the warp nacelles mounted directly onto the secondary hull, it was decided during construction of the NX CORINIUM to forgo the hanger bay and instead create a ship that would exceed all others in exploration, Scientific research and Combat duties.
The nacelles were found to be problematic to mount directly to the secondary hull and so the ventral ones were mounted on small pylons and the dorsal ones were mounted on a third hull designated as TRINARY HULL. This Trinary Hull houses a second warp core which was to be originally placed besides the first in the secondary hull.
This configuration coupled with new breakthroughs in warp fields has resulted in a star ship that is 25% faster and 25% more efficient than the original Sovereign Class, this gives the Corinium Class a cruising warp factor of 7.5 and a maximum sustainable warp factor 9.9 for 15 hours (the sovereign was capable of just warp 6 and 9.9 for only 12 hours)

Due to the huge reserves of power provided by two warp cores the Corinium has the strongest shields and phasers in the fleet, an unusual design feature not seen on most explorer ships.

The Corinium Class has still the cargo capacity to transport or construct small installations such as subspace relay satellites, mining facilities and defence platforms. These facilities are automated until Starfleet can send follow up survey ships.

The Corinium Class was built in 2380 and was one of the largest ships in the Starfleet, she is based partly on tried and tested technology and partly new innovations. She resembles the old Constellation Class of ship and plans have been made to name one of the class USS STARGAZER NCC 2893-A.

The innovations with this class begin with her size, duties and construction and repair abilities but they do not end there. The Corinium Class uses the best technology available, that is not to say the newest but the most reliable and the easiest to maintain.
This class of star ship is hoped to exceed the famous Galaxy Class in exploration and scientific research and it is hoped the Corinium will exceed many other previous classes depending on the duties assigned her.
The Corinium Class is a true multipurpose star ship.

This is the placement for the ship. Also, For the Corinium, the second model in this pack, when in the bridge you see the phaser strip in the main viewer, is there a way to mover the camera up?

Hmmm, looks like a sovie, HP, with addition of pulsees, and what kinda torpedo loadout?
I'd be happy to me and Hobbs go back to SB07
