Attribute Error: Crash to desktop.
« on: December 01, 2009, 10:26:12 PM »
What would cause this kind of an error when trying to load E3M1? I have the 1.1 patch and foundation installed, and I double checked all of my projectiles and they're fine.

The Attribute Error is all I'm getting and it's not really telling much. Does anyone know the cause/solution?

hmm, refresh my memory, that's the one where the Sovereign first shows up, right? Did download a modified soveriegn by any chance? If the game can't find everything it needs it does that, and most modded sovs don't work in SP, mainly because they replace the quantum torpedoes with a quantum pulse turret, or they are missing the plasma torpedoes, go into the hardpoint and add them back into the hardpoint, that should fix it.  If that didn't work download the Supermod 3.

I'm fairly certain that Attribute Error is present even in stock installs.

The Sovereign is fine, I got the quantums and phased plasma's scripted into the torpedo system properly. It's doing the same thing with E2M3 (crash to desktop w/ attribute error).

Nope no NFX, I know it doesn't "agree" with SP.
