OK, I've tried to go on BC again (which is kind've a rare event nowadays), but whenever I go on it there always seems to be some problem or annoyance that puts me off playing BC for any longer than 10 minutes.
Today I felt like fighting the Klingons, so I got a 'straggle' of Fed ships vs. a bunch of Klingon ships...*thinking* they weren't supposed to be cowards, so I would get a good fight from them!
What I
ended up doing, is spending most of the time playing "catch-up" with them, trying to keep within weapons-lock - and I was the
Defiant of all ships! The battle always seems to be fought over
huge distances for some reason.
(Secondly, on an off-topic note, I didn't realise how weak the Galaxy class is against a few Birds of Prey, a Vorcha class and a couple of others - and that was *with* help from my fleet of about 5 medium/average-range ships)
So next I decided to fight the Romulans - I thought that if I picked bigger ships, at least they should be big enough to see/hit, especially the Warbirds!
But they were even WORSE! I didn't even get the chance to fire a single hit on them; they seem to have a suicidal urge to
lunge themselves at the fastest possible speed towards the nearest star!
These are the sort of "battles" I seem to be having (Using Kobayashi Maru btw) - a battle to keep up with them!
